Mankurta mityula Poore & Humphries, 1998: 724, figs 1-6.

Type material. HOLOTYPE: male, 3.1 mm, WAM C23278.

Type locality. Millstream Aquifer, Pilbara Region (38º 25'S 149º 00'E), Western Australia.

Diagnosis. Based on Poore & Humphries, 1998: 724, figs 1-6.

Head antenna 1 not sexually dimorphic; 2 shorter and narrower than peduncular article 3. Mandibular palp with 3 articles; maxilla 1 with conical apices, each with clusters of short setae; maxillipedal palp articles 2 and 3 with few mesial setae. Maxillipedal epipod digitiform. Maxillipedal epipod short. Pleopods 1-4 similar in juveniles and females. Pleopods 1-4 endopod with basal, laterally directed lobe. Pleopod 5 well developed. Pleopod 2 endopod male with 2 articles. Pleopod 2 male exopod narrow. Pleopod 2 male exopod with few setae.

Habitat. Aquifer.

Distribution. Millstream Aquifer, Pilbara Region, Western Australia.
